Basements Plus is excited to share that we took home three awards at the 2025 HBA Awards, marking a major achievement for our growing team and a milestone for our company. This year, we were honored with:
For a Michigan home remodeling contractor that takes pride in transforming lower levels and living spaces, these awards represent truly meaningful recognition. They affirm that our work in basement finishing, basement remodeling, and home renovation continues to stand out for quality, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Our Platinum-winning basement project earned a special place in our company’s story. Not only did it receive top honors at the HBA Awards, but it also previously won a prestigious Master Design Award. This stunning lower level showcases what exceptional basement design can be: thoughtful layout planning, custom features, functional living zones, and elevated finishes that completely transform how a home is used and enjoyed.
Being recognized twice for this project solidifies it as one of the most notable basement transformations in Michigan this year, and we couldn’t be prouder of the team members who brought it to life.
We are equally proud of taking home Bronze for Kitchen Remodel, an honor that reflects our growing footprint beyond lower levels. This project highlights our team’s ability to deliver high-quality kitchen renovation solutions that blend function, style, and craftsmanship. From cabinetry and layout improvements to lighting, flooring, and finishes, this award reinforces our commitment to creating spaces that elevate daily living.
As more homeowners trust us with creating their dream spaces, it’s incredibly rewarding to see our work recognized in such a competitive category.
Perhaps one of the most meaningful recognitions of the night was being named Remodeler of the Year. This award celebrates leadership, innovation, high customer satisfaction, and excellence across all aspects of remodeling—from design to production to customer experience.
Earning this title is a reflection of our entire company and the standard we set for ourselves as a trusted remodeling contractor in Southeast Michigan. It speaks to our team’s pride, tenacity, ownership, and dedication to giving every homeowner a remodeling experience no one else can.
While these awards showcase the talent of our team, none of this would be possible without the homeowners who trust us to bring their dream spaces to life. Every basement project, is a partnership, and we are honored to be the ones chosen to enhance their homes, lifestyles, and future memories.
Our designers, builders, project managers, service team, CAD experts, and support staff pour their heart into every space we create. Their craftsmanship and commitment to excellence are the reason Basements Plus continues to be recognized as an award-winning remodeling company year after year. We couldn’t be more proud of what they accomplished at this year’s HBA Awards.
To our team: your creativity, effort, and passion drive everything we do.
To our customers: thank you for trusting us with your homes and allowing us to be part of such meaningful transformations.
These awards are a reflection of you—and we are deeply grateful.
